Natalie – Status Update

April 2, 2026

Again, another day hoping to get Natalie extubated and another disappointment. She woke up early and called me (6:00 am). She called Sue a little later. We are implementing some new limits so we can get the sleep we need.

While we were at the hospital, it was clear Natalie was not happy. The frustration of being in the hospital, alert, but with the tube in her chest is really getting to her. We do our best to keep her spirits up, but it is hard when you are limited the way she is in the hospital.
